It is important to note that the US SWP did a lot of work in the late 1960s and during the 1970s to make Trotsky's writing, including on Ukraine, available, particularly to english speakers. The articles were first published in their press. The US SWP had also been practical work with Ukrainian internationalists - they had published in English Dzyuba's Internationalism or Russification.

Having done layout for reprints by the DSP, and knowing how much the Barnesites defend their IP, it is likely that they didn't claim copyright on the original Monad IMPRINT. US copyright originally required you to claim it, it lTer shiftedi. In the 1970s they moved to claiming it, but you can't retroactively assert it. Ond way around the assertion of copyright was to find older versions of a pamphlet or book in Socialist Appeal, or the Militant and scan that. I did the scanning for the Resistance Books edition of Camejo Liberalism , Ultraleftism, or mass action and How to make a revolution in the US.
