Youth plays a crucial tactical vanguard role, and recruiting young people is considered vital for any revolutionary organization. The International Youth Camp serves a fundamental role in this policy.
The youth camp is a precious experience for our European sections in attracting young comrades and in developing new internationalist leading cadre for the organizations. It is also a major public activity of the Fourth International and an exceptional self-organized internationalist experience for young people. Experience has shown that people who get to know the 4th International in real life activities have a better understanding of who we are and what we want. Supporting the attendance of youth at such events is crucial for the future development of the International and for their education and active involvement.
The camp hopes to welcome an increased number of attendees from Scotland, Cymru, and England. Ensuring participation from young people across these areas is vital for fostering internationalism and a shared understanding of struggles. The Fourth International’s organisations in those countries committed to building a common British delegation, facilitating discussions and activities that transcend national borders.
