This is a really strong framework for internal structure, and I wonder if how organisations behave externally could also be part of the model.

Can members support individuals or movements outside the organisation when objectives align? Or does that depend on control, branding and line discipline?

That reveals how much autonomy members actually have, and whether the organisation is oriented towards advancing its objectives or preserving itself.

That is a great example, partly because it's a good measure of how reality is allowed to impinge on activity.
